The Elderly Are At Risk
When a person with a healthy immune system comes in contact with the human papillomavirus virus (HPV), it normally disappears from their body within one to three days. However, there are at least 15 high-risk strains of the disease that can develop into cancer.
What’s especially disturbing is that 6 in 100 men, and 1 in 100 women in the United States now carry the virus in their mouths.
That’s right… in their mouths.
The medical community is urging men and women to protect themselves from a sexual behaviour that can trigger certain types of HPV-related cancers. This alert is especially concerning for sexually active men and women over the age of 60.
If you are sexually active retiree, make sure you watch this video, or share this warning with someone who needs the information.
