Death By Sex

Of all the sexually transmitted diseases, the human papillomavirus virus (HPV) is the most commonly transmitted. Eighty percent of Americans are likely to become infected at some point during their lives.

Typically HPV clears up on its own, but 10 – 20 percent of cases do not.

WHAT MAKES THIS IS ESPECIALLY TROUBLING: of the 40 strains of HPV, there are at least 15 high-risk versions that can mutate into cancer.

Ergo, the medical community is warning that a particular sexual behaviour can result in an HPV-related cancer. If you are 60 years of age or older, and sexually active, health care professionals believe that you face a greater likelihood of developing this type of cancer if you do not take the necessary precautions.

Watch this video to learn how to enjoy sex without the fear of cancer ruining the moment.
