Use it or lose it

There’s a cliché about sex that goes like this: if you don’t use it, you lose it. And it is, to a point, true.

Losing sexual sensation after long periods of sexual abstinence is possible. The medical condition, in women, is known as clitoral atrophy. Penile atrophy, in men, is often caused by aging or injury.

That’s why sexually active senior citizens – who haven’t lost it – understand that physical intimacy makes their golden years that much more rewarding.

However, when it comes to using it or losing it, there is one important caveat. An Ivy League doctor has recently discovered a correlation between sex and cancer that particularly affects men and women over the age of 60. The research suggests that a sex habit may be jeopardising the health of the elderly!

If you are a senior citizen who is making love at least once a month, congratulations. Your vitality is inspiring. But you still need to watch this video to learn how to protect yourself. Physical intimacy is a cause for celebration, it shouldn’t shorten your life.
