The Covid-19 lockdown is enabling couples to enjoy more quality time together, including opportunities for more romance. Unfortunately, sex-related cancers are likely to rise.

The human papillomavirus virus (HPV) normally disappears from the body on its own, but in 10 to 20 percent of the population it can fester in the body and in some cases turn into cancer.

That’s why the medical community is urging men and women to protect themselves from sexual behaviours that can result in HPV-related cancers. This warning is especially concerning for sexually active seniors.
